Hey, hey, it’s David!
I have always been a storyteller. When I was little, I would mimic television shows, commercials, and music ad nauseam to anyone who would listen. Imitating voices, talking about which teacher liked me the most that week, or humming the score to Jurassic Park are just a few examples of why my family always told me to be quiet. I slowly learned that I was different and even more slowly learned that that was a good thing.
I found my way to acting. Once the door was opened, it vanished. The curtains were drawn, and the tiebacks lost to the wings. I could be anyone, research anything, and learn as much as possible about people and their circumstances. I’d share that knowledge with anyone who would listen. I love people. I love their lives and finding purpose and reason in their everyday choices. Genuine honesty and vulnerability are what I bring to my acting. It’s the throughline that guides my artistic life.
Most recently, I’ve been taking an herbology course, perfecting my Spanish, singing, voiceovers, dancing, and swimming. I’m writing new works, creating, collaborating, and learning.
